May 1, 2020 · Things To Do In Southend-On-Sea. Adventure Island is an amusement park right on Southend seafront. The park is free to walk around but the rides obviously cost money to go on. Rides and wristbands are categorised by colour. So younger visitors pay less but would be restricted to the smaller rides.
