Jun 7, 2021 · The West of Devers Project triples the capacity of power delivery from desert areas to population centers in the Inland Empire and San Gabriel Valley. It increases transmission capacity for renewable generation and storage resources, such as rooftop solar and battery energy storage. The project was completed in May 2021 and was supported by a transaction with Morongo Transmission.
Southern California Edison is issuing bill credits and Demand Response program credits to help customers navigate energy bill increases this year. The first California Climate Credit is coming one month earlier, and the second is scheduled for fall. The credits are funded by the state's Greenhouse Gas Cap and Trade Program.
