Stillwater Cove Regional Park is located on the northern Sonoma County coast, 15 miles north of Jenner and the Russian River. Visitors to the 210-acre park enjoy hiking, fishing, sea kayaking and birding. The cove is popular for launching small craft and as a staging area for scuba diving.
Stillwater Cove is a nice little park to stretch your legs out and enjoy some cooler air during hotter inland days. I had visited this past July 2023 and included it as a stop, visiting nearby Salt Point and some other coastal stops.

Nov 29, 2015 · Stillwater cove Beach is a nice little isolated cove with some great geology and some beautiful sunset views. The camping area has on-site caretakers that well give local information and make change for the pay showers.
Stillwater Cove Regional Park is a Sonoma County beach and park about 16 miles north of Jenner, CA. The sandy beach is in a small but deep cove where Stockhoff Creek flows intermittently into the Pacific.
Another trail crosses Highway 1 to the beach at Stillwater Cove, a popular destination for fishing, abalone diving, ocean kayaking, tidepooling, and picnicking. An inland campground offers 23 sites, available for year-round reservations, and one hike/bike site (first-come/first served).
Stillwater Cove Regional Park on the northern Sonoma Coast features a picturesque crescent of beach, a small campground, and hiking trails through redwood forest and along ocean bluffs. The park is a popular spot for tidepooling, picnicking fishing, diving (abalone season is closed), and ocean kayaking.
