The campground itself is very nice. It’s located in the state park property. Sites are paved with a gravel patio and a nice fire ring with the grill option. For $15/day (for 4 people) you can walk the boardwalk over to the Stonewall Resort and use their pool, hot tub, and take a river cruise.
A major recreation area is located at the Stonewall Jackson State Park which provides visitors with numerous opportunities including a 374 slip marina, picnic facilities and a 18 hole championship golf course, lodge, cabins and additional campsites. Backwater areas provide excellent fishing opportunities.
