1 Review. dergel Sep 18 2009. Interesting story-telling format, with Della linking each song with a spoken narrative relating to the upcoming song. The history of blues music is well covered, ranging from plantation blues, through Dixie, to New Orleans and Chicago blues. Della sings straight, without affectation, and is the better for it.
