Dress designer Natalie Upton (Kay Francis) has been having an affair with married architect Larry Baldwin (Alan Dinehart). Larry wants his daughter, Doris (Gloria Stuart), to be old enough before he asks for a divorce from his wife, Lois (Marjorie Gateson), who takes no interest in him. Complicating matters is the fact that Natalie's younger brother, Clarke (Allen Vincent), and Doris are in love and plan to get married.
