New Safety Recall/STOP SALE: WRP-23 Driveshaft Failure Subaru of America, Inc. (Subaru) has initiated a safety recall for certain 2023 model year WRX vehicles, certain 2024 model year Crosstrek and Impreza vehicles, and certain 2023-2024 model year Forester vehicles.
Dec 13, 2022 · Subaru of America has issued a recall on select Model Year 2019-2022 Subaru Ascent vehicles due to increased fire risk. Owners are urged to park their vehicles outside away from structures and avoid leaving the vehicle unattended while the engine is running. The recall affects 271,694 vehicles.
This recall replaces Subaru’s previous WUV-07 recall issued in January 2020 for certain 2019 model year Ascent vehicles. Vehicles affected by the previous recall must return to complete the WRK-21 recall repair, even if the previous recall repair was completed.
