Jul 23, 2013 · "Supertanker" (also known as "Super Tanker" or "Battle Tanker") is one of SyFy's very worst movies, and that's saying something. I watched this first over a year ago but was so disgusted with it I'm just finally able to contemplate reviewing it now.

Summaries. A Super Tanker is commissioned to safely carry a deadly, and quite unstable, cold war artifact (ICE-10, an anti-matter weapon developed from fragments of a meteor), and drop it in the deepest ocean trench. At a top secret facility on Alaska's the North Shore, one of the darkest secrets of the Cold War remains in storage. A substance recovered from a meteor, it has the same properties of anti-matter.
Like all sy-fy movies it has a protagonists, in supertanker they are dark black clouds which do nothing much apart from hover over the tanker with an not at all menacing hint that they are devastating population areas such as Hawaii. The only other beasts in this movie are a couple of macho egos.
