Superman II: The Richard Donner Cut is a fascinating curio. It elevates Superman II into a much more well-rounded, meaningful movie. Though it should be noted that, similar to Zack Snyder's Justice League , this isn't the movie that would have been released if Richard Donner had his way in 1980.

Director Richard Donner began shooting his vision of Superman II while concurrently filming Superman The Movie - his never-before-seen vision has a totally different beginning and resolution and includes so many changes, large and small, that this Superman II is an eye-opening alternate experience.
