All the memorabilia. Present building was built and opened in 1948. Original dance floor, booths etc. Many many big name bands and performers played here. We recently enjoyed a night of dancing at the Surf Ballroom to the music of Hunter Fuerste Big Band/Orchestra. Wonderful fun night. The Surf is listed as a National Historic Landmark.

The original Surf Ballroom was located across the street from its current location on the shores of Clear Lake. It officially opened for business on April 17, 1933 with a $1.00 dance on a 90x120 foot hardwood dance floor.
