Survivor: Edge of Extinction is the 38th season of the American CBS competitive reality television series Survivor. The season featured fourteen new contestants competing with four returning players. The season premiered on February 20, 2019, and concluded on May 15, 2019.

Survivor: Edge of Extinction is the thirty-eighth season of Survivor. The season saw the introduction of the Edge of Extinction, offering contestants a second chance after being voted out in exchange for weathering the abject destitution of the Edge.

May 16, 2019 · Chris won the $1 million prize and the title of Sole Survivor after an emotional competition among the Extinction Island crew. He beat Victoria, Lauren and Julie, who were all voted out at the final tribal council. The show's two-hour season finale also featured the return of four returning players and a new twist.
