1 day ago · Around 9:50 UT (2:50am PDT) Saturday morning 2024-05-11 I saw what looked like a star grow to at least magnitude +2 in a distinct yellow orange color over about 30 seconds and then faded quickly to nearly invisible. It was in the eastern half of the sky and formed a square with other stars that were nearly as bright.
