The Chair is an American academic dramedy series created by Amanda Peet and Annie Julia Wyman. It was released on August 20, 2021. It marks the first series to come out of the mega overall deal Benioff and Weiss signed at Netflix in 2019. The series is written and executive produced by Amanda Peet, who also serves as showrunner.
