The Diamond Smugglers is a good book to read if you want to understand the connection how the diamond industry financed the killing and destruction throughout Sierra Leone. Diamonds are definitely not a Sierra Leoneans' best friend! I was a big fan of Ian Fleming's James Bond books. Fleming's writing style brings the story to life.
