S2.E1 ∙ Episode #2.1. Fri, Dec 4, 2015. Lin Tao, the Vice President of the Variety Department, has someone disguised as Yu Fan as a gimmick to boost ratings of the VBS Star Awards. Wei Yun is invited on stage to present an award to the Yu Fan-look-alike. Wei Yun is shocked to see Yu Fan.
The Dream Makers story continues and it has been three years since Zhou Wei Yun was transferred from the Variety department to the Drama department as VP. Her bosses decide to hire two new VPs Lin Tao (Nan Xing Li) and Guan Xie En (Biren Huang). Their work performances greatly outshine Wei Yun's, causing her to feel threatened.
