The Field of Blood. Paddy Meehan is a newspaper reporter that gets personally involved in a murder investigation in the hopes of advancing her career.
Unconvinced of Callum's guilt Paddy links the murder to that of another little boy, some years earlier, whose alleged killer has just hung himself in prison. Paddy interviews the man's widow, using the name of a colleague, Heather, who is later murdered.
All episodes of The Field of Blood. Paddy tries to make a career amidst the miner's strike and big changes in journalism.
Starring: David Morrissey, Jayd Johnson, Peter Capaldi. US TV RATING: TV-14. Paddy has a personal connection in the case of a missing two-year-old. As the story develops, Paddy believes it could provide a much-needed break in her quest to advance from copy boy to reporter.
