The Flying Nun. Season 1. Join Sally Field as Sister Bertrille in this first season of "The Flying Nun" as she uses her ability to become airborne, via her "jet" corvette to help others, whether they want it or not. Although her aims are always benevolent, her means are often bemoaned by Mother Superior (Madeleine Sherwood).
Sister Bertrille is getting better at flying and takes the occasional practice flight. During one of her flights, she is seen by Carlos Ramirez, who thinks he has seen a religious vision. Because of it, he gives up drinking, gambling and girls, while taking up meditating and going to mass.

The Flying Nun is an American fantasy sitcom television series about a community of nuns which included one who could fly when the wind caught her cornette. It was produced by Screen Gems for ABC based on the 1965 book The Fifteenth Pelican, written by Tere Ríos. Sally Field starred as the title character, Sister Bertrille.
Carlos Ramirez, a playboy, sees Sister Bertrille flying and decides to reform. Mother Superior asks Sister Bertrille not to fly during Bishop Dillion's visit to the convent. At Carlos' discotheque, his girl friend, Dottie, tells gamblers Lou Cottrell and Tony Petroni of his reform.
