The Fungies is an American series premiered on August 20, 2020, on HBO Max. The series explore the mythological metropolis of Fungietown through the wondrous and whimsical quests, introduces Seth, a lovable mushroom kid who lives in prehistoric Fungietown and loves science and discovery.
Seth, a science-minded 10-year-old Fungie kid, is fascinated by how the world works and wants to tell Fungietown all about it. With a little help from his artistic older brother, Pascal, Seth stirs up trouble for Fungietown, leading him to hilarious and heartwarming emotional discoveries.
Seth leads a group of kids into a haunted mine in an effort to prove that everything has a scientific explanation and that there's no reason to be afraid ghosts. But things get spooky when they encounter a ghost that Seth doesn't have a scientific explanation for.
