The number of people diagnosed and treated for TB increased by 26%, and the number of cases of malaria treated increased by 11%. The Global Fund is investing to get the world back on track toward ending AIDS, TB and malaria and making the world more equitable and safer from future threats.

The Global Fund provides 65% of all international financing for malaria programs.We have invested more than US$17.9 billion in malaria control programs as of June 2023.Since January 2021, we have increased malaria grants by 23% on average.220 million mosquito nets distributed to protect families from malaria in 2022.8.5 million structures covered by indoor residual spraying in 2022.37.1 million children covered by seasonal malaria chemoprevention in 2022.14.6 million pregnant women received preventive therapy for malaria in 2022.321 million suspected cases of malaria tested in 2022.166 million cases of malaria treated in 2022.The Global Fund is the world's largest financier of AIDS, TB, and malaria prevention, treatment, and care programs. As of June 2019, the organization had disbursed more than US$41.6 billion to support these programs. [6]
The Global Fund provides 28% of all international financing for HIV programs and has invested US$25.5 billion in programs to prevent and treat HIV and AIDS and US$4.6 billion in TB/HIV programs as of June 2023. Since 2020, we have also stepped up support to countries to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 on the HIV response.
