The Doranen control the weather with their magic and keep a wall of fire to protect the kingdom from outside. The Olken are servants, craftsmen, merchants, farmers, fishermen and the kingdom prospers.

In 2005 Miller's first novel was released entitled The Innocent Mage. This was the first novel in the Kingmaker, Kingbreaker series and was followed shortly after by Innocence Lost.
