From Sir Lionel getting taken out in the beginning, a creepy Baron Ruber (Villain) and his evil henchmen, dragons (excluding Devon and Cornwall), malicious plant life, an Ogre, the Griffin, and let's not forget how scary Merlin looks with his red eyes. It has a couple haunting soundtracks but not too bad.
