Synopsis. Stanley Ipkiss ( Jim Carrey ), a clerk in an Edge City bank, is a shy, luckless romantic who is regularly bullied by nearly everyone around him, including his boss ( Eamonn Roche ), his landlady Mrs Peenman ( Nancy Fish ), and car mechanics.
