The Pink Panther Strikes Again is a 1976 comedy film. The fifth film in The Pink Panther series, its plot begins three years after the conclusion of The Return of the Pink Panther. Unused footage from the film was later included in Trail of the Pink Panther (1982), released after Peter Sellers's death.

Former Chief Inspector Charles Dreyfus (Herbert Lom) is nearly set to be released from a mental hospital after being cleared. However, a visit from current Chief Inspector Jacques Clouseau (Peter Sellers) resurrects his insanity, and he is denied leaving.
Brief Synopsis. After driving his boss to insanity, Inspector Clouseau has to stop him from destroying the world.
