Aviator John Leslie meets Diane Du Prez in Canada when he seeks shelter from a storm, but he returns home at the news of his father's death. Sent by her father to New York, she goes out socially with John; but her rough dress and manners are unacceptable to his friends, and she accepts the offer of Dunbar, his business manager, to give her financial aid.
