The Return of the Pink Panther is a 1975 comedy film and the fourth film in The Pink Panther series. The film stars Peter Sellers returning to the role of Inspector Clouseau for the first time since A Shot in the Dark (1964), after having declined to reprise the role in Inspector Clouseau (1968).

The Return of the Pink Panther (1975) is officially the fourth film in the "Pink Panther" series but it almost single-handedly resuscitated the comedy franchise, as well as the careers of star Peter Sellers and, to a lesser extent, Blake Edwards, who co-wrote and directed the original 1963 slapstick mystery The Pink Panther.
Overview. The famous Pink Panther jewel has once again been stolen and Inspector Clouseau is called in to catch the thief.
