From Concept to Realization: An Expanded History of TSOA. The Taliesin Fellowship. The School of Architecture was formally initiated as The Taliesin Fellowship in 1932 when twenty-three young people came to live and learn at Taliesin, Wright’s estate and home near Spring Green, Wisconsin.
Founded in 1899, the Architecture Section at the Knowlton School occupies a distinct place in U.S. architectural education. A strong design culture and pioneering work with technology is the foundation of its educational mission—this has long informed its culture of making.
The School of Architecture offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and City and Regional Planning. [2] Knowlton Hall serves as the replacement for Ives Hall, the previous home of the school of architecture which was demolished in July 2002. [4]
