Recovering drug addicts Maxx ( Matt Keeslar) and Lisa ( Clare Kramer) are persuaded by vampire clan leader Darius ( Jeremy Sisto) to give up their humanity and join him as vampires. They do so, but then give up the vampire's blood addiction – the Thirst.
