Sep 15, 2009 · In "The Two Mrs. Grenvilles" he surpassed himself. As with Mr. Dunne's other novels, this is a transparent retelling of an actual event, one that, in it's time, was a major scandal. With the passage of time, the story has largely been forgotten, but it's all here, in lurid detail, for another generation to be titillated by.
