  6. The soprano Thea Linhard was the daughter of the merchant Wilhelm Johann Linhard from Munich. She became a student of the soprano Maria Ivogün when she was only sixteen years old. She debuted in 1920 at the Stadttheater in Bamberg. From 1921 to 1926 she was engaged at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich.
