Theo van de Sande. Cinematographer: Volcano. Theo Van de Sande, a graduate of the Dutch Film Academy and an award-winning Cinematographer, started working professionally while still in school. At an early age, Theo found his passion in still photography and earned his first camera by working in the strawberry fields.
For over fifteen years Theo van de Sande worked as a director of photography in The Netherlands before trying his luck in Hollywood. He made his American debut with the cult movie MIRACLE MILE, after which he went on to work on CROSSING DELANCEY and ROOFTOPS with director Robert Wise, with whom he developed a great friendship.
