Theodor Heuss (* 31. Januar 1884 in Brackenheim; † 12. Dezember 1963 in Stuttgart) war ein deutscher Journalist, Publizist, Politikwissenschaftler und, über einen Zeitraum von fast 60 Jahren, liberaler Politiker ( NSV, FVg, FVP, DDP, FDP / DVP ). Nach Gründung der FDP 1948 war er für knapp ein Jahr deren Vorsitzender.
