This documentary by director Tom Peosay presents the history of Tibet under Chinese occupation. While the film depicts life at Buddhist monasteries that are closely associated with the mountainous region, it also shows other sides of the country, capturing the poverty found in the city of Lhasa, as well as sweeping shots of the expansive Tibetan wilderness.
