Tim Riley is a bass singer and manager of Gold City Quartet, one of the premier quartets in Southern Gospel Music. He was inducted into the Dixie Echoes in 2013 for his contributions to the genre and his influence on the industry.
Retired Gold City bass vocalist Tim Riley was taken to hospital after suffering a stroke earlier this week. An email to Texas Gospel Canada from Daywind Records says Tim has since suffered an additional stroke and has been moved to the ICU. The strokes have affected Tim’s speech and make it difficult for him to communicate.
