Time is perhaps the director's most straightforward film, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but in this case the lack of complexity and hyperrealism found in some of his better films makes this one a failure by comparison. If you’re feeling like you want to surgically change your face, TIME is a great film to reconsider your options. The premise is haunting: a young girl is passionately in love with her boyfriend, but *time* has eroded their relationship into an unhappy affair marked by habit and sexual frustration.

This is the flaw with Time, a film that really could have been something along the lines of Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind if it had tried harder. Verdict: Only see it if you’re a die hard Kim Di Kuk fan.
'Time' may not be one of Kim Ki-duk's best movies of the last few years, yet it's far more entertaining and easier to mentally grasp then let's say 'The Bow'. As an introduction to the work of this extraordinary director this might not be a bad choice.
