When Teotlalco Tlapalizquixochtzin was born about 1478, in Tenochtitlan, her father, Tlatoani Matlaccohuatl, was 15 and her mother, Indigena Azteca, was 12. She married Huei Tlatoani Moctezuma II Xocoyotzin about 1498, in Tenochtitlan. They were the parents of at least 4 sons and 2 daughters.
