This is the Family Togetherness Week of Prayer, an apt opportunity to highlight faithfulness as a fruit of love that comes from being filled with the Spirit of God. True faithfulness in our relationship with others—especially in our families—is fueled by God’s love in us.
Family Togetherness Week is just around the corner, and we want to invite you to be a part of it. To implement this in your church, download the resources at https://family.adventist.org/resources/resource-book/2024rb/ and don’t miss the opportunity to foster stronger families.

Then feel free to retreat into your own (electronic) stimulation, recreation, or leisure-time activity (read: “isolation in your own room”).
Family Togetherness Week is scheduled in the first week in September, beginning with the first Sunday and ending on the following Sabbath with Family Togetherness Day of Prayer. Family Togetherness Week and Family Togetherness Day of Prayer highlight celebrating the church as a family.
Themed “I Will Go With My Family: Unity in Community”, the day of prayer marks the end of “Family Togetherness Week” (September 5-11), which is designed to encourage husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, and families to produce the fruit of the Spirit in their lives each day.
This year’s Family Togetherness Week of Prayer Resource shares concepts to help families and individuals flourish in their emotional health. Our prayer is that this will be a reality we can all experience as we allow God’s peace, joy, hope, and healing to abide in our hearts.
