Tony Curran (born 13 December 1969) is a BAFTA Award -winning Scottish actor who has appeared in Underworld: Evolution, Doctor Who, Roots, and the Netflix historical epic Outlaw King . Curran was born in Glasgow. He graduated from the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. In 2012 he married Mai Nguyen; they had a daughter in September 2013.
