Tony James is a multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and mastermind behind Sigue Sigue Sputnik and Generation X with Billy Idol. He cut his teeth in various West London proto-punk bands in the mid-seventies, playing alongside soon-to-be members of The Damned and The Clash.
