Iron-willed drill instructor Drake (Darren McGavin) is faced with a difficult task: breaking hardened hippie Adrian (Jan-Michael Vincent). The outspoken draftee wants nothing to do with the war in Vietnam. Ironically, he's also a skilled marine who excels at every stage of basic training.
