Trouble Down Under is a Australian CGI film set to be released in
late 2015. The animated film, rated G, is being directed by Steve Trenbirth (director or many successful Disney sequels). It is said to be one of the biggest independently financed Australian films ever. If successful, there are plans to turn it into a franchise set to include a sequel, many story books and mobile games. Trouble Down Under is currently under production in Sydney.

ory about a gang of African meerkats who get lost in the harsh Outback of Australia. The meerkats encounter local mobs of kangaroos and cause unwanted chaos. And when a rogue white wallaby by the name of Al Bino returns to the outback following his own exile, more confusion erupts. More of the plot is yet to be defined.
A major independently financed 3D animated Australian feature called Trouble Down Under will begin production on the 2nd September at a special 'purpose built' studio in Sydney, it has been announced.
