Tweetsie Railroad is a family-oriented heritage railroad and Wild West amusement park located between Boone and Blowing Rock, North Carolina, United States. The centerpiece of the park is a 3-mile (4.8 km) ride on a train pulled by one of Tweetsie Railroad's two historic narrow-gauge steam locomotives .
Tweetsie has been the High Country's premier family fun park for over 7 decades and features a Western-themed ride on an authentic steam train. In fact, Tweetsie was the Boone Area's first high-tech link to the outside world from the late 1800s to the 1940 Flood.
Tweetsie is also home to an authentic wooden coach, former East Broad Top Railroad #5, which is run on special occasions such as their annual Railroad Heritage Weekend event. The ET&WNC continued operations of the standard gauge lines well after the narrow gauge closures.
