When Vivian Campbell was a kid he went to see Rory Gallagher at Belfast’s Ulster Hall, then rushed home to grab his guitar and imitate the underrated Irish guitar hero. Campbell’s still copping those licks, though he doesn’t get away with it in his current band, Def Leppard.

  3. Billy Gibbons of ZZ Top and Joan Osborne offer guest performances. Gibbon's song "Willin' for Satisfaction" is the best of the bunch, closing out the record on a high note. Blues covers albums may be coming around more often then they should be but when the results are this good it's hard to argue against that trend.

  4. Joan Osborne thankfully comes in on vocals to add some life to the album. It's not really Jack Bruce and Cream, but I think it's an important piece of this album considering the rest of it. The harmonica adds some spice, but it's too standard to burn the tongue on the way down.
