The USC School of Cinematic Arts (SCA) is one of the nation’s preeminent centers for the creation, study, research and development of film, television and interactive media. With nearly 200,000 square feet of facilities, the school confers degrees ranging from the bachelor’s to the doctorate.
The School offers comprehensive programs in film and television production, writing, cinema and media studies, media arts and practice, animation and digital arts, and interactive media and games — all backed by a broad liberal arts education and taught by leading practitioners in each field.
The School of Cinematic Arts is not participating in early action. In order to apply to one of our six divisions you must first select your Preferred admission plan on the Common Application to Regular Decision. Application Deadline: December 1st. Admission Notification Date: By April 1st.
