While this direct to video prequel is better than the sequel and unlike the sequel it actually brings back the character of Van Wilder(now played by a different actor). This is a missed opportunity because things mentioned in the original about what happened during his freshman year don’t actually occupy in this film.

This movie is funny with a side of hilarious. For a mobile movie the quality is still decent. Without giving anything away this movie is very similar to the other van bolder movies and is slightly similar to American Pie.
