Velocette is a range of motorcycles made by Veloce Ltd, in Hall Green, Birmingham, England. One of several motorcycle manufacturers in Birmingham, Velocette was a small, family-owned firm, selling almost as many hand-built motorcycles during its lifetime as the mass-produced machines of the giant BSA and Norton concerns. The annual Velocette Owner's Club Rally is not just a fixture every July in our calendar, it is the foundation upon which the club was conceived. In the mid-'70s, Velocette owners Richard Renstrom, Ed Gilkison and a few others used to meet in California with their shared passion and ride Velocettes together.
