Although detailed statistics are not kept on daily activity, generally there are around 20 volcanoes actively erupting at any particular time. The Smithsonian / USGS Weekly Volcanic Activity Report (WVAR) for the week ending on 14 May 2024 has updates on 19 volcanoes.
