I only had Disney's "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" as a submarine film to compare it to. Disney's film is certainly a more quality production than "Voyage," but it has a lot in common with Allen's film. "Leagues" uses an ensemble cast as well. Peter Lorre is also in the cast.
