Oliver Stone attempts to recreate magic with his white collar crime drama Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps (2010). Stone's witty script is in full force as he plays up the money making as a scheme for a larger con in this neat sequel to Wall Street. Though the moral messaging may not be as affecting as it is in Wall Street, the principle is strong.

Sep 22, 2010 · "Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps" is six minutes shorter than it was when I saw it at Cannes and has a smoother conclusion. It is still, we might say, certainly long enough. But it's a smart, glossy, beautifully photographed film that knows its way around the Street (Stone's father was a stockbroker). I wish it had been angrier.

The soundtrack to Oliver Stone's sequel to his 1987 classic Wall Street, 2010's Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps fittingly collects various tracks from '80s icons David Byrne and Brian Eno. Culled primarily from Byrne and Eno 's much lauded 2008 collaboration Everything That Happens Will Happen Today , these songs are superb choices for a film that updates the chic '80s milieu of the original film.
