Warrant is a German speed metal band. It was formed in Düsseldorf in 1983 [1] by Jörg Juraschek (vocals, bass), Thomas Klein (guitar) and Lothar Wieners (drums). They went on tour with Warlock in 1985, after releasing an EP and an LP. The band soon split up.

One of the more obscure German Speed Metal bands, but one of the better ones for my money. Warrant should appeal to those of you who appreciate the music of early-era Rage, as they exhibit a similar kind of Thrash (but not quite) style.
