   • Beam said this of “Waves of Galveston” during an 2018 interview with Jon Hart of KCPT radio in Kansas City: It’s an older one. I think I wrote it right after Ghost on Ghost, it was sorta in that song cycle but didn’t quite make it for the recording session. We recorded it for this last record and it just didn’t seem to quite fit.
